The most important service I provide is working closely with you so that you will achieve your goals for your Internet presence.  Your Web site works for you 24/7 365 days a year; it tells the world who and what you are.

Developing your Web site and publishing it on the Internet involves the following processes:

Website Development and Design

1. Discussion of the goals you want to achieve through your site.  Is it strictly informational or do you want to use it to attract participants or customers?  Will it include e-commerce?   What kind of "look and feel" do you want for the site?

2. Development of site structure (navigation needs, display requirements, number of pages and so forth).

3. Choice of a design look or visual concept.  I will provide several options from which you may choose, and the specific design will follow from your choice.

4.  Insertion of content (copy writing and/or editing services provided, if desired), graphics, pictures (with optimization for the Web), etc.

5.  Thorough testing of all elements.

6.  "Publishing" the site to the Internet.

7.  Delivery to you of all access codes and ownership information.


Domain Registration and ISP selection

Choice and registration of domain name (www.yourcompany.com) and Internet Service Provider (the Internet host for your site). I can advise you in the selection of these items or work with your current domain name and ISP.  Either way, you will own your domain name and be responsible for renewal of your domain and ISP contract. I will be glad to help you with choice and initial payment arrangements.

Content Writing and Editing

Content affects Search Engine rankings.  If yours is a personal site or one that can easily be found by a Web surfer, Search Engine rankings may not be important to you.  If you are a business and need to attract customers, your copy will be critical to your success.  You may choose to write your own copy, or you may be too busy with your daily business to have the time or comfort level to write your own copy.  I can help you with writing and editing, or I can add the content you provide. 

Website Search Engine Submission (optional, but recommended) I will submit your site to the major search engines so that your "public" can find you.

E-Mail Set-up  Most ISPs will offer email services for your Web site.  I can save you time and energy by setting these up for you and showing you how to retrieve your email, or you may prefer to do your own set-up.

Site maintenance  You may choose to make updates after the initial publication of your Web site. If so, I'm happy to show you how to do this. Or, if you you prefer, I can update your site.

Updates are billed at an hourly rate of $50, with a minimum charge of 1/4 hour. Depending on the amount of work involved, billing can be monthly or quarterly.
